Scott is Amazing. 5 Stars All the Way!  Scott Long put the finishing touches on a fantastic fundraising evening for Lemay Child and Family Center. His act was perfect for our audience! Everyone in attendance said it was our most entertaining fundraising event we have ever had. We raised over $52,000 for our early childhood education program!

Scott was a huge hit for our first fundraiser on Saturday night! We couldn’t have asked for a better event to get our fundraising started. Scott did a great job of interacting with the audience. We had a diverse group in attendance and his show was perfect fit for all – even the ministers in the audience! :) This event was focused on fundraising for education and he incorporated touching stories from his own personal journey as a parent. One audience member stated “he about had you in tears from emotion, then at the edge of your seat laughing!” At the end of the night Scott donated a portion of his merchandise proceeds back to us – what a nice surprise!

If you are looking for a comedian for any occasion then look no further. Scott Long does an excellent job customizing his performance to meet the expectations of each individual audience. He did an excellent job recognizing the sensitivity of our event. In this particular case, it was a charitable cause supporting Autism awareness. He provided the smiles and laugher we needed to have a successful event. Scott was able to incorporate his own personal experience into a super funny and enjoyable performance. The AAF (American Advertising Federation) Louisville has an annual fundraiser called Stand Up For Education, Comedy For A Cause. All of the proceeds from the event benefit the AAF-Louisville Endowment Fund, which

provides scholarships to local college students who are pursuing careers in advertising or marketing-related fields.

The featured comic this year was Scott Long, in the 5 years we have held the event, in my opinion, Scott is the best comic that we have ever worked with. The performance that Scott delivered was clean, non-political, hilariously funny and flawless. Scott was extremely professional and very easy to work with, he understood the purpose of our event and worked with

the AAF Louisville in every way possible to make sure that our goals were met and exceeded. 

In the “Derby City “we know thing or two about winners and make no doubt about it, Scott Long is a true winner.

We cannot thank Scott enough for his great performance at our 19th Annual Comedy Night fundraiser to benefit our priority patient project at Wyandot Memorial Hospital!  We especially appreciated Scott mentioning our project – the renovation of our maternity department – several times while he was onstage. We can never stress the need enough, and Scott certainly helped spread that word!

Scott’s thoughtfulness in donating a portion of your merchandise sales is also greatly appreciated. His kind gesture directly affects our bottom line for this “fun” fundraiser. Our sold-out crowd was absolutely thrilled with Scott’s performance. His interaction with our audience was definitely the hit of the evening. 

In addition to being a great performer, I was so grateful that Scott Long is so wonderful to work with from an organizer’s perspective. He contacted me in advance and allowed me to share information about the timeline and flow of our evening. He arrived well in advance of the show, with plenty of time to talk with our sound and lights guy, as well as to meet others on the program. I also valued the time Scott spent talking with guests one-on-one at the end of the night, as folks do enjoy the opportunity interact a bit. It was the best Comedy Night ever!

Scott gave an up-beat polished performance that left our audience eager to participate, yet kept in suspense due to his sarcastic and perfect-timing remarks.  Continuous laughter about modern societal issues and personal problems alike was the theme of the evening.  Long, jokingly related to our audience when he talked about raising a child on the autism spectrum, balancing his work/dad life, and surviving today's politics while creating hilarity in the midst chaos.

This was our first time for our Booster club to put on a fundraiser like this and we weren't for sure what to expect as far as the comedian would go. After Scott performed we couldn't have been happier that we hired him. He arrived early and interacted with the crowd and got to know some people. He even remembered what people said and made people in the crowd part of the show. Made it seem like Scott was from our home town and knew everybody in the room. Because of how well it went we are going to make this an annual event. You cant go wrong hiring Scott if you are looking into doing something like this. He did an amazing job.
